Gainesboro District, 156 Anchorage Lane, Gore, VA, property directly adjacent to proposed solar farm. One of the reasons we purchased this property years ago was the view surrounding the property. Looking at the site plans we feel the panels will be close enough to our property that glare would be an issue and that the view of them instead of the current view will adversely affect our property value. One of the first things people mention about our property is the surrounding view, which instead now would consist of solar panels. We do not want to see any panels from our property and feel that the proposed 10 foot deep vegetation screening is not sufficient enough and we would want them to keep as many rows of apple trees currently there as possible to help with the screening. We understand the solar farm will help keep our area rural, we just don't want the view of the panels to lower our property value. If the plans can be amended to minimize the view of them from our dwelling, we would want that to occur. Our main concern with the project would be any negative effect on our property value. Thank you for your time.
