    H Ballentine – Back Creek District - As a nearby resident to this potential development, I strongly urge the committee to support this proposal. Part of the draw of the Winchester/Frederick county area is the rural feel. No matter what the "comprehensive plan" says, the citizens do not want to become the next Northern Virginia. We do not want another Snowden Bridge development. We want to keep the rural feel that makes Frederick County home. The originally planned 1,300+ units represent irresponsible development that will overwhelm the area and the landscape. The traffic plan for this development was inadequate. There is no consideration for what the new development would do to the surrounding established area in terms of traffic, services, or home values. The new proposal is more sustainable and provides a more modest approach.
