What will Frederick Co do to handle increased traffic flow on Greenwood Rd from Farmington Dr. ? Section 6.1 transportation doesn't fully address the additional traffic from this proposed housing development and other new and approved for the future housing developments that empty onto Greenwood Rd. Have new traffic analyses been conducted since 2005?
I support the plan to NOT extend the roadway from Ladyslipper Dr to Farmington Dr. for safety reasons. It will be adequate to connect a walkway for pedestrians only.
Does this contain enough "green space" -- part of land left undeveloped? I support not building houses or housing units on the property adjacent to my home at 215 Ladyslipper Dr. Is there a way to have more green spaces in this development?
