My husband and I live on Woods Mill Rd just a house away from where the solar farm is proposed. We were alarmed upon learning about it, and are concerned (along with our neighbors) about it affecting the resale value of our house. A big draw to the house for us was the backyard with beautiful views of the field to the right where the solar farm may now be built. We even considered moving and selling before it is built so as not to lose as much money on the house, but my husband has a terminal illness and packing up and moving is not something we want to spend his remaining time here doing. I am afraid I'll be left with the house when he passes and not be able to get as much as we paid for it if this farm is built, through no fault of my own. How can this solar company justify potentially causing homeowners to lose thousands of dollars on resale value of their homes? Please do not let this happen.
