Regarding Conditional Use Permit #09-20 in Gainsboro Magisterical District for a 100 foot tower, I completely support the request. I live next door to the Daugherty's (I'm at 396 Peeper Lane). I can't even see the existing tower that is attached to their home, as it barely is above the tree line. The new tower isn't that much taller (about 10 feet) and won't be an issue either. It is very important that we have reliable internet service. The new tower should improve the existing service, which is extremely important to my neighbors and myself. This is our only internet service (other than DSL, which is not even worth mentioning because it is so slow). Until we get cable internet in our area, which isn't even on the radar, we need FAST, RELIABLE wireless internet service. This new tower should provide that to us, and to the surrounding valley below. FAST, RELIABLE wireless internet service is a necessity in today's environment with people working from home and kids having online classes. My son is one of those kids and needs this service. Please approve the request for the tower.
I am a resident of he Gainesboro Magisterial District, live at 490 Peeper Lane and a neighbor of Sue and Rich Daugherty. I fully support the approval of the 100 foot tower that provides Internet Service to our region and community. The use of this tower has become increasingly more important with the Covid-19 pandemic for providing sufficient service to work from home, distance learning, shopping, media programming, and to stay in communication with friends and family.
I live at 336 Peeper Lane, which is next door to Susan and Richard Daughterty. I completely support the request for the 100' tower
to provide reliable internet service. With the new work from home normal, its crucial we have choices to get reliable internet service so that we can work from home. I have no issues and I support this proposal in the Gainsboro Magiterial District.
My husband and I are in support of the tower that is located on our property. This tower is a benefit to the community for providing a much-needed utilitarian service, especially during this unprecedented time when broadband is the lifeblood of schooling from home and telecommuting to continue an established livelihood.
