Vacant 4-year term Roger Thomas currently serves on the Planning Commission representing the Opequon District, but because of redistricting now resides in the Shawnee District. The appointment of Mr. Thomas to the Shawnee seat will allow a new representative to be appointed from the Opequon District to fill the unexpired term ending 6-14-2025.

10) Committee Business - Finance Committee
10.A) The IT Director requests a General Fund supplemental appropriation in the amount of $142,208. This amount represents PEG funds to replace cameras and video control systems in the BOS Meeting Room and includes the option to add cameras to the back of the meeting room to broadcast work sessions. PEG funds are derived from cable franchise fees and can only be used for items related to the broadcasting of meetings. No local funds required. The committee recommends approval to include the option to add cameras to the back of the meeting room.

10.B) The Parks & Recreation Director requests a General Fund supplemental appropriation in the amount of $300,000. This amount represents proffer funds for the install of an outdoor spray-ground facility at Clearbrook Park. This item has been approved by the P&R Commission. The committee recommends approval.
