Instituting a photo enforced surveillance and taxing state is not the answer to the safety concerns of speeding in school zones. These systems are viewed as violations of privacy and due process by citizens at large. How many car accidents have occurred in these zones? Have any pedestrians been hit in a cross walk by a speeding driver? Why are we instituting a revenue generation scheme instead of finding less oppressive means to improve safety?
