I am writing to express my strong support for the restoration of the Aylor building and propose the establishment of the Eukarya school within its premises. This would be a tremendous opportunity for our school and we would excitedly be able to extend the academy to meet its current growth and escalating demand. I would like to highlight the overwhelming support from our neighbors for this project. The community members have expressed their enthusiasm and endorsement for the restoration and their support is a testament to the positive impact this initiative would have on our community. The community agrees this certainly is the path of least resistance in filling the old Aylor’s void with another school allowing the community to still have a place to walk, avoid influx traffic/noise, and potentially have helpful resources for their families. An alternative to a school would have to make it financially feasible to thrive with low risk and therefore would necessitate something industrial or commercial in nature to offset the extravagant costs of demolition. While financial considerations are important, it is equally crucial to recognize the non-monetary benefits that this project would bring to our community. The school could serve as a hub for community activities, hosting events, workshops, and programs that benefit not only the students but also the wider community. I feel strongly that the graduates at Eukarya are going to move mountains and I do think this program is undeniably an asset to the Shenandoah Valley. My testament is hardly the only story.

As a resident of the Red Bud District as well as a parent of two local students, I strongly encourage RCS Investments’ bid on behalf of Eukarya Christian Academy to be accepted for purchase of the old Aylor Middle School. The building as it currently sits is detrimental to the community; individuals have demonstrated this with repeated destruction of the property, in addition to wasting tax payer money in a variety of other ways with minimal proper use of the space in the years following the new middle school having been built. With RCS & Eukarya’s unified plan, the building would quickly transition into a community asset, keeping the location from being built into a commercial property or a continued open door for vandalism/trouble should the space remain vacant. Instead, Eukarya invites a positive change and support to the surrounding Winchester & Frederick County areas with more education & school choice options, youth athletic opportunities, potential child care and/or preschool, etc. Eukarya is truly a blessing to the families that the organization serves, as well as the community that they reside in.

Please vote YES, in favor for RCS Investments' & Eukarya Christian Academy’s purchase of the old Aylor Middle School!

I fully support Eukarya Christian Academy's purchase of the old Aylor Middle School building. Eukarya is a great part of the local community and continues to grow and support families in a multitude of ways. The building would be well-tended and continue to be used for the purpose for which it was built.

As a resident of Stephens City in the Opequon District and supporter of ECA, my family and I fully support the bid for RCA/ECA to purchase the old Aylor building. ECA has shown itself to be a beneficial educational option for families as well as the source of healthy athletic, arts, and other programs that even those without children at ECA can enjoy. Having Eukarya occupy that space would be a great asset to the community as a whole.

The old Aylor building should not be seen as it is now. You don't Praise a project car when it's just been taken apart. You should look to the future and see how it can look with hundreds of smiles running around, community events bringing the area together, and a overall landmark Improvement. Eukarya Christian Academy brings such a love and joy for both their students, but also staff. Everything they do is for the student benefit, and they won't stop until they have a fully understood knowledge of the Bible, and the smarts to defend it. Anyone who opposes this movement is showing their true colors as to what they believe.

I think that the property should STAY A SCHOOL! Especially one that is Christian based! Our youth is OUR FUTURE!!! And it should be of the utmost importance that we raise them in good, wholesome, educational environments!!

The sale of a public facility and public property should be first considered by what will most completely serve and help grow the diverse community at large. Choosing to sell to an entity that specifically excludes portions of our community would not achieve that goal. I oppose the bid of any group with any racial, religious, or ethnic requirements for the property use of the old Aylor School. I am in the Red Bud district.

As a member of the Stonewall District and an ardent supporter of ECA, I wholeheartedly endorse and advocate for the RCA/ECA's acquisition of the old Aylor Middle School. As a local medical provider and ECA parent, I firmly stand behind ECA's mission and the invaluable opportunities they provide to families and students. The urgent need for a larger space has long been evident, and relocating to the old Aylor Middle School would breathe new life into a building deserving of care and attention. It would undeniably serve as an exceptional asset to the surrounding community, enabling more families to benefit from their exceptional program and extensive community outreach. This decision would truly be a beacon of hope and progress for our county. I implore you to cast your vote with a resounding YES in support of RCS Investments' and Eukarya Christian Academy's acquisition of the old Aylor Middle School!

I am writing to voice my support of Eukarya Christian Academy's bid for the former Aylor Middle School facility. As a parent, former educator with FCPS, and current resident of Stephens City, I would welcome Eukarya Christian Academy in the former Aylor facility. ECA has shown itself to be a beneficial educational option for families as well as the source of healthy athletic, arts, and other programs that even those without children at ECA can enjoy. Having Eukarya occupy that space would be a great asset to the community as a whole.

I'm writing in support of RCS Investments' and Eukarya Christian Academy's acquisition of the old Aylor Middle School - for all the reasons cited by others (remaining a school, instead of a commercial property...as a community-focused institution, rather than a safety hazard...as an enhanced offering to the community vs the size limitations Eukarya currently has...etc.), this is the right decision for Eukarya beneficiaries, and for the entire surrounding community. We are thrilled for this opportunity and seek your support in the vote, please.

As a member of the Gainesboro District and supporter of ECA, I am fully in favor RCA/ECA to purchase the old Aylor Middle School. As a former substitute teacher with ECA, I can whole-heartedly stand behind ECA and what they offer their families and students. They have been in dire need of a larger space for some time. Their relocation to the old Aylor Middle school building would bring new life to a building that needs love and care and would be an tremendous asset to the surrounding community. This would offer more families to benefit from their program and community outreach and be a light to our town.

Please vote YES, in favor for RCS Investments' & Eukarya Christian Academy’s purchase of the old Aylor Middle School!

As a resident of Stephens City in the Opequon District and supporter of ECA, my family and I fully support the bid for RCA/ECA to purchase the old Aylor Middle School. My son attended preschool at Eukarya King's Cubs and thrived. He will be attending kindergarten in fall at ECA and we cannot wait to see how he flourishes under their care. I believe that the purchase of this building would be beneficial to many families in the area. As school choice is making its way into the political arena and the culture of today's public schools, ECA will need a larger building to accommodate more students as families opt out of public education. It would behoove Frederick County to approve this purchase because the building is deteriorating and is a waste of tax dollars. It is becoming an eyesore with boarded up windows and overgrown grass.

Please vote YES for this bid to benefit our children as an alternative to public education.

My family and I fully support acceptance of the bid from RCS/Eukarya Christian Academy (ECA) to purchase the old Aylor Middle school.

If you please, this would be such a good change for the community and surrounding area - the teachers, staff and families of ECA have been a huge blessing. My oldest daughter is going into 7th grade and she has thrived over the last year - her mental and emotional health is so much better than it was when she was in the public school system. I also have a son going into 4th grade and another daughter entering Kindergarten.
Eukarya currently has a long wait list of students who could benefit from a small class size and Classical model of education (however it has outgrown its current facility and we have had to rent in the past). Not only will selling Aylor to ECA allow for the building to stay a school (instead of storage units or other commercial development) but it also isn't much further away from my home in. Please vote yes on selling Aylor to ECA and help my three children get the best education they can.
