10.A) Board of Zoning Appeals 5-year term of Dwight Shenk expired 12-31-24 Mr. Shenk is eligible and willing for reappointment. Also see attached applicant of Linda Whitacre. Note: The Board makes a recommendation to the Judge of the Circuit Court who in turn makes the appointment.

13.A) Comprehensive Plan Amendment, Western Frederick Land Use Plan – Proposed Adoption of the Western Frederick Land Use Plan. The Western Frederick Land Use Plan (WFLUP) Study Area Consists of +/- 6,229 Acres of the County Generally West of the City of Winchester, Including Areas Inside and Out of Route 37, North and South of Route 522 (North Frederick Pike), North and South of Route 50 (Northwestern Turnpike), and North from Cedar Creek Grade (Route 622). The Western Most Sections of the Study Area Extend Along Route 50 to Poorhouse Road (Route 654) and Just East of Wardensville Grade (Route 608). The Proposed Plan Includes Minor Revisions to Existing Planned Land Uses, Planned Transportation Improvements and the Sewer and Water Service Area (SWSA). 13.B) Ordinance to Amend the Frederick County Code – Revision to Amend Special Event Facilities and the Surface Material of the Parking Area as it Relates to Conditional Use Permits in the RA (Rural Area) Zoning District. The Intent of this Amendment is to Permit the Dual Use of Pasture and Meadows for Parking for the Events Without Requiring an Undue Burden on the Property Owner to Gravel Surfaces that are Infrequently Used for Parking. Chapter 165 Zoning Article II Supplementary Use Regulations; Parking; Buffers; and Regulations for Specific Uses; Part 204 – Additional Regulations for Specific Uses, 165-204.30(B)(1)(c).
