8.A) Recognition of Historic Plaque Program Recipients   To promote historic preservation in the County, the Historic Resources Advisory Board developed the Historic Property Designation Program in 1995. This program, more commonly referred to as the Historic Plaque Program, enables the County to honor and acknowledge the architectural and historical integrity of significant structures.  The current recipients are:   Brightside and Kernstown Battlefield Association   Green Spring Mill Taylor Furnace Chrisman Spring  Family Drive-In
