6.B) Approval of the Sheriff's request for a General Fund supplemental appropriation in the amount of $45,973.41.  This amount represents auto insurance claims and will be used for the upfitting of new vehicles.  No local funds are required.

8) County Officials

8.A) Information and Discussion:   Shenandoah and Lake Frederick HOA’s Board of Directors are requesting the Frederick County Board of Supervisors adopt an ordinance designating the roads in the Shenandoah & Lake Frederick HOA subdivisions as public roads for law enforcement purposes.   Following the Board's discussion, staff is seeking Board consensus to set a public hearing on the request.

8.B) The Director of Elections requests a General Fund supplemental appropriation in the amount of $50,000.  This amount represents additional funds needed to hold the June 2025 Primary Election.  Local funds are required.

Alternate   Note: Miles Adkins and Dianna Klein were appointed by the School Board to serve as the School Board's Representative and Alternate, respectively, for 2025.
